The actor Ahn Hyo-Seop has weighted the possibility that his character Jinu will return to a potential sequel to Netflix’s successful animation film “K-Pop Demon Hunters”, despite the tragic fate of the character at the end of the film.
The 30 -year -old Korean actor, who expressed the 400 -year -old demon transformed into Idol Jinu, expressed his enthusiasm in seeing the character returning while recognizing the narrative challenges.
“I mean, Jinu gave his soul, therefore, how, I never imagined how he would be back. Like someone who also loves Jinu as a fan, obviously I would like to see him come back. But it doesn’t depend on me”, Ahn he said.
Jinu’s fate has become an important point of discussion among the fans after the character has sacrificed himself to save Demon Hunter Rumi and humanity in the climatic moments of the film. The sweet and sour end has unleashed widespread requests for a sequel that would give jinu and rumi another possibility of happiness.
Ahn revealed his personal investment in the relationship of the characters, saying: “Li Stan’io too” referring to Jinu and Rumi. “I think it concerns the pain and agony they have had. I feel as if it concerns the company, as if I could not solve your problems alone. You must have someone next to you and have had the biggest connection.”
