aespa Winter and RIIZE Sungchan are once again embroiled in relationship rumors. This time, some are claiming it’s “real.”
A post has been circulating in the Nate Pann online community that has received over 200,000 views, as the original post (OP) speculated on the true outcome between the two SM Entertainment artists.
In July, rumors of their dating first surfaced after she noticed his interesting reaction when she said the word “winter,” which coincidentally is the same name as her dog.
The Aespa singer shares the same love for puppies as her male idol.
This time more “evidence” was provided to support this suspicion, including the numerous times their interests, texting patterns, and objects coincided, as if they were trying to subtly demonstrate that they are a “couple.”
First, they have similar sparkly earbuds and had an impromptu chat about apples a day apart on Weverse last month. They also both like BingBingbar ice cream, burgers, and fries, both have chosen Switzerland as a place they want to visit, and they use the same (ahh) slang using the Korean letter for “A.”
Finally, Winter’s old Instagram profile photo also resurfaced, featuring Bambi, the deer, the animal often associated with Sungchan’s facial features.
When this evidence was shared online, MY (aespa fan) and BRIIZE (RIIZE fandom) took to the comments to defend the idols. They said that the “evidence” is weak and does not prove that they could be in a relationship just by looking at their similar items.

“The apple is a meme between RIIZE and Bambi (character) was chosen by fans in Bubble and matched to the profile picture with friends. Other RIIZE members also like BingBingBar and I know they talked about it a lot but he never talked about it (again).”
The user continued to explain and said:
“As for Switzerland, she said it once about 22 years ago and never said it again. Is this a joke? Kim Minjung (Winter) doesn’t like hamburgers and she likes French fries so much that she even says, ‘I order French fries.’
What does this have to do with Sungchan liking burgers? Stop obsessing over peaches, French fries, and the name of AirPods. They’re just foods he likes.”

However, some Internet users insist that the rumors of their dating are true, adding that the two stars are always on their phones, even during group engagements.
- “I would have let it slide, but when I look at the backstage, I see Sungchan next to the members, texting and typing so loudly on his phone. I think their relationship is real. I believe it.”
- “They look so good together.”
SM has not yet released an official statement on the matter.
