Allegations of school bullying against Sena have surfaced across online communities and social media. A classmate from Sena’s elementary school in Incheon even shared her graduation album and photos, claiming that Sena’s past behavior and words were problematic. Some of the allegations included claims that Sena and her friends had bullied classmates and even threatened them.
Additionally, Sena was reported to disrupt classes by grouping with friends, using harsh language towards her peers, and even receiving threatening direct messages from unknown male students. The claims also mentioned that exactly one year before ADYA’s debut in May 2023, Sena had apologized to a victim for his behavior during his youth.
On January 12, a photo of Sena was posted on ADYA’s official social media, where fans commented accusing her of being a bully. In response, Sena wrote on the fan communication platform “Fromm”, saying: “I’m sorry. I’m a little wrong. Please wait a while. I’m really sorry.” She expressed her regret at not being able to interact on the platform sooner, fearing that her fans might hate her. Sena shared her feelings of guilt for disappointing her fans.
Sena strongly denied the bullying allegations, stating, “I don’t know if people will believe me, but I tell the truth and I’ve never bullied anyone.” This statement attracted attention as it negated the school violence controversy altogether.
In the entertainment industry, many stars have been victims of false accusations and fake news in the past. Actor Jo Han-sun, for example, was falsely accused of bullying at school, but his agency quickly denied the allegations and his classmates defended him, saying he would never commit such behavior. Similarly, comedian Hong Hyun-hee was also the victim of false accusations of school bullying, but after filing a lawsuit and clearing her name, the accuser recanted her statement.
