This is my first and last response to everything that has happened recently. I sincerely apologize for attracting public attention.
Before all of this, I never let my illness affect my work or those around me. I also recognize my flaws. I’ve always considered myself patient, but in the last half month I’ve realized that, deep down, I’m not as benevolent as I thought. So I have some responsibility for the situation.
My profession has given me more help and support than I could have imagined. I am deeply grateful and fortunate and this allows me to understand all the misunderstandings I have faced. I fully support the idea that anyone can choose the career they dream of at any time. You always have the right to leave the difficulties and exhaustion of your current situation. You can stop whenever you want; you are free and you can be brave.
At the same time, I understand that everyone has experienced grievances and injustices as I have heard too many terrifying stories. I think it’s wrong if someone who receives no support is silenced while their abuser becomes bolder, regardless of profession, age or gender. It is ridiculous to force someone to reopen old wounds to prove that they are not “overthinking”, not “too weak”, or not “dissatisfied”.
No one except a doctor has the right to evaluate the severity of someone’s trauma or determine whether it qualifies as an illness or not.

After describing the health issues she has faced over the years, the actress revealed that she was abused as a child by a teacher and directly mentioned the incident reported by her friend. Zhao Lusi revealed more details about the abuse, mentioning that the individual even threatened self-harm.
As a child, I was often labeled “useless” and having a “pretty face.” During after-school tutoring, a teacher once beat me in their dormitory. I thought it was justified because I wasn’t doing well academically and didn’t dare speak up thinking, “I must be the problem.”
Growing up, I was beaten again after failing an acting audition. I thought it was my fault that I couldn’t, so I remained silent and just wanted to escape. I was used to managing everything on my own and never looked for help. Later, after my work started receiving recognition, I finally gained the confidence to say goodbye to that chapter of my life.
Eventually, he demanded a large “termination fee” before finally stopping his cycles of crying, tantrums and threats of self-harm. Even after that, he continues to slander and spread rumors about me, both inside and outside the industry. Numerous people turned to gossip after hearing these stories. Each incident made my pain worse and the damage caused still hasn’t stopped.
