A brave woman!
Korean media belatedly reported that the actress Seo Ji Hye He saved a woman from a drunk man on a train in 2010. He had finished filming his drama Kim Soo Ro and was taking the KTX train back to Seoul. He saw a drunk man molesting a woman on the platform.
Seo Ji Hye approached cautiously and asked what was going on. The woman told her that she had kindly answered the man’s questions about directions, but he continued to follow her and hit on her. Seo Ji Hye pulled the woman close to her side and got on the train with her to protect her. The man followed the two onto the train and asked the woman for her phone number.
At that point, Seo Ji Hye couldn’t stand the way he continued to hit on the woman, even after a verbal warning. Seo Ji Hye physically grabbed him using her Hapkido skills. It was reported that she used a Mechanical use the throwing technique on the man to arrest him.
Seo Ji Hye holds a 4th degree black belt in hapkido. She admitted that she was scared at the time, but found the courage to save the woman.
