On the March 11 broadcast of the MBC variety show Radio stara special episode titled “So multi-talented!” guests in attendance including Jin Seo-yeon, Keum Sae Rok, Joo Jong-hyuk and Kwak Beom.
During the show, Keum Sae Rok talked about what he called her “king of part-time work” days before the debut, sharing stories about the many different jobs he had taken on.
He revealed he has worked in several places, including an H&B store, a cinema, bars and even wedding displays. In particular, she impressed everyone by saying that while working in a movie theater, for eight consecutive months she ranked first in membership card registrations.
The actress also surprised viewers by sharing that she was the first part-time employee at an ice cream shop run by comedian Yoo Sang Moo. Remembering that time, Keum Sae Rok said: “The owner Yoo Sang Moo once went to a fair and I followed him. That’s when the comedian Yoo Se-yoon arrived.”
He continued with a funny story, explaining that it was later “explored” working at a shop run by actor Kim Soo-ro after she was offered a salary 1,000 won higher than what she earned at Yoo Sang Moo’s shop.
Keum Sae Rok also shared his experience working at wedding fairs, where he said his rate of obtaining preliminary contracts was even higher than that of full-time employees. She added that even after she debuted as an actress, a hanbok shop owner she worked with continued to contact her because of her impressive sales performance.
Meanwhile, Keum Sae Rok officially debuted in 2015 through the film The Silenced. She later strengthened her acting career by appearing in popular dramas such as The fiery priest, The interest of loveAND Iron Family.
Last year he also made a strong impression on viewers in the variety program Iron Girls 2where she challenged herself with boxing and showed her determination to push herself beyond her limits.
