Journalists on tvN Free doctor revealed their findings during an in-depth investigation into actor Jung Woo Sung’s latest controversy, in which he was suspected of cheating on his longtime partner.
Model Moon Ga Bi has come forward with their child, born out of wedlock, leading to allegations of an extramarital affair.
Journalists indulged in their findings, which suggests that Jung was taken by surprise by the news of the baby.
“The situation suggests that there was no prior agreement between the two,” journalist Ahn Jin Yong said.
Yong explained that the veteran actor would understand the ramifications of the news, considering his 30-year career.
“However, Moon Ga Bi’s announcement of her birth came as a surprise, with news emerging just two days later. It is widely believed that Moon Ga Bi revealed the news without consulting Jung Woo Sung.”
Yong added that instead of a personal statement, Jung chose to communicate through his agency in an effort to define his relationship with Moon.
The reporter suggested that Jung might not have wanted to go public with the news, but Moon proceeded to take matters into his own hands.
“They didn’t date or love each other, which explains Jung Woo Sung’s stance against marriage,” she said.

Journalist Kim Ji Hyun chimed in, adding that she believes Jung’s responsibilities lie in parenting, not marrying Moon out of obligation. The reporter also shared that their investigation revealed that Jung was not in a relationship at the time of meeting Moon.
“There has been a wave of misinformation. For example, claims that a woman seen in a photo sticker was born in 1998 are incorrect,” journalist Choi Jung Ah said.
“Some criticize Jung Woo Sung for allegedly having an affair while seeing Moon Ga Bi, leading to her pregnancy.”
Reporters explained that Jung Woo Sung had met Moon Ga Bi during a brief separation from his longtime girlfriend, who had been informed about Moon and the baby.
“From an outsider’s perspective, it may appear that Jung Woo Sung was involved with two women at the same time,” Choi said.
The journalist added that the controversy did not affect Jung’s long-standing relationship.
“My findings suggest that she is still with her long-time partner, who is not an accountant as some rumors suggested,” Choi said.
“Reports that she was deeply shocked by the revelation are inaccurate, as she has known about the situation for some time. Rather than feeling betrayed, she is more concerned about the future of their relationship.”
