We hope to get new music from them!
A recently disbanded girl group has given fans hope of a reunion.
In 2020, then 7-member girl group surnames debuted below C9 Entertainment with a digital single titled “Nun Nu Nan Na”.
The group underwent a lineup change after their debut, with two members leaving and being replaced by two new idols. The group was well-loved by fans and released their most recent comeback, “Poongdung” in May 2024.
In December 2024, it was announced that Cignature would disband, sparking mixed feelings from fans. While many wished for the group to continue, others accused their company of mistreating and oversexualizing members.
Signature K-Pop Girl group is officially disbanding
However, it seems that the story of cignature may not be completely over.
On January 8, member Seline shared a series of photos featuring herself and other cignature members. Many of the photos were from promotions for their latest album.
One of the images was a photo of the six active members of the group as they appeared on THE MTV SHOWwhich he shared on his Instagram story with the caption “to be continuuuue(d).”
Although its meaning was not entirely clear, many fans interpreted it as a sign that the group could potentially return under another company.
