A famous couple of Korean YouTubers have gone viral X after finally formalizing their union in Thailand. Thailand is one of the rare countries that recognizes same-sex unions. The couple, Mango Couple, who host over 312,000 subscribers on their YouTube channel, traveled to Thailand to get their marriage license certified.
The couple shared their thoughts on the matter, picking up an interview from a local station on the topic.

Last year in Korea, we tried to register our marriage because it was our 10th anniversary, but the Korean government didn’t accept it. So, today we came here, and compared to Korea, we felt so much love in this area, so I was so moved that we cried.

The couple vowed to bring the energy back to Korea to share with others. Their X video has since received over 1.7 million views. Same-sex marriage was legalized in Thailand on January 23, 2025, marking a huge and significant milestone for the LGBTQ+ community.
