Recently, a K-Pop fan exposed an idol she was a fan of for “sliding” into her direct messages.
In a post on Threads, an anonymous user shared a screenshot of a DM that purportedly came from an idol he was a fan of, claiming that he had sent a DM after her departure from his group.

The message in the DM purportedly from the idol thanked her for her support, saying he was always grateful when she appeared.

Although the fan did not name the idol specifically, it is speculated that he is a member EASTSHINE due to his social media activity. EASTSHINE debuted in 2023, and in mid-2024, two members left the group.
Of the two, former member Cooked he shared multiple updates with a girl purported to be his girlfriend and created his own Instagram account after leaving the group.
