Actress-turned-idol Kwon So Hyun has answered whether 4Minute will ever reunite, including controversial member HyunA.
On November 15, Kwon So Hyun interviewed the press ahead of the release of his new film, “Delivery.” Here, they talked about her transition to being an actress, as well as her thoughts on her former idol career.
Notably, Kwon debuted as 4minute in 2009, under the Cube Entertainment label. During the peak of their career as a group, they became famous with their hits “Hot Issue”, “Crazy”, “Hate” and others.
Unfortunately they disbanded in 2016 after the members except HyunA left the agency.
After 8 years, So Hyun was asked about one of the items on her “bucket list” and she attracted attention by choosing “4Minute reunion”.
He explained:
“Every time I see second generation idols get together, I think I want to get it together too. I have a goal. I want to be able to perform on stage with 4Minute at least once one day. I think about it.
I think the stage for “Hate” that we played at the university festival in May 2016 was 4Minute’s last stage. But at the time we went on that stage without knowing that it would be our last.
It ended suddenly, so having one last stop is on my ‘bucket list’.”
Before they disbanded, some rumors claimed that the other members’ relationship with HyunA was strained due to a clear difference in the female idol’s treatment and popularity for them.
However, over the years, 4Minute has clarified that this rumor is false and that there had been no animosity within the group before they split.

In Kwon’s previous interview, he also sparked excitement when he hinted at the close relationship between the members when he said:
“I definitely want the team to get back together one day. I stay in touch with the members and every time we meet we talk about memories and stimulate our emotions.”
The case that HyunA was “arguing with them” was also closed when she sent a coffee truck to So Hyun to cheer her up during the filming of her movie “Delivery.”
Seeing that their friendship has been mended, expectations are high for their future reunion. Meanwhile, Kwon So Hyun, Gahyun, and Jihyun worked as actresses, while Jiyoon and HyunA continued their careers as soloists.
