Lisa’s popularity is truly unmatched, given her talent, performances and success. However, this inclusion did not please some netizens.

Vanity Fair has uploaded its 31st annual #VFHollywood issue with celebrity favorites Zendaya, Zoe Saldaña, Nicole Kidman, Jonathan Bailey, Bill Skarsgård, Sydney Sweeney, Glen Powell, Dev Patel, Danielle Deadwyler and Ncuti Gatwa, along with Lisa as new entry .

The magazine included Lisa in the shoot due to her upcoming appearance in the third season of The White Lotus.

Unfortunately, others were skeptical about Lisa’s inclusion in Vanity Fair’s Hollywood film. They also highlighted how coincidental it was for Lisa to be included on the prestigious cover full of accomplished actors and actresses, despite her lack of portfolio in film appearances.

Some have even accused Lisa of exploiting the connections of her alleged boyfriend, Frédéric Arnault, to get a film in Hollywood.

But Vanity Fair explained later in an interview how Lisa became part of the cover. The magazine’s editor-in-chief, Radhika Jones, explained:

“It takes someone like Lisa, who is a big star in the K-pop world, less known in Hollywood, with the Hollywood audience but she will be in The White Lotus, in the new season, you know, people I love that show.”

Jones continued: “This is our way of saying, ‘Lisa is incredibly famous, but we’re going to present her in a new context and it’s nice to be able to create that mix.”
