It is reported that a AfreecaTV female streamer, ex blackmailed TVXQ member Kim Junsu and stole over ₩800 million KRW (approximately $569,000 USD).
According to North Gyeonggi Police, an arrest warrant was requested for streamer AfreecaTV “A” on Nov. 13 on charges of extortion.
A is accused of threatening and stealing over KRW 800 million (about $569,000) from him on 101 different occasions from September 2020 to last month.
During the investigation, it emerged that after meeting Kim Junsu in 2019, A threatened to distribute audio files of conversations about sexual intercourse and received money in exchange for not publishing them.
On the other hand, it was reported that A committed the crime to raise money for drug use. A is also being tried for a drug-related case in the Seoul Central District Court.
