Beomhan began receiving backlash following his comments following the US presidential election results. Although he intended to address a bad situation with humor, it was not received well by viewers, as many thought the jokes were insensitive, inappropriate, and not his place as a man.

Beomhan quickly apologized after taking heat for the now-viral clip. However, as netizens continued to criticize him and resurface past controversies and false accusations, Beomhan became defensive and lashed out on social media with both rants on X (formerly Twitter) and live broadcasts on Instagram.
Clips of his two lives on Instagram went viral, as Beomhan cursed those who kept leaving him hateful comments.
While some fans defended Beomhan, others were disappointed by his behavior. However, Beomhan apologized several times.
However, it appears Beomhan will be taking an indefinite break, as in his latest statement he promised to “be back soon” while saying he will seek therapy.
Also, the next Beomhan event has been cancelled. Beomhan was previously scheduled to have its first event in Tennessee on November 16 and 17, while taking over PLOGHVEY K-POP in Knoxville.
Now, just a couple of days before the event, PLOGHVEY Group announced that the event was cancelled. Those who purchased tickets will be refunded.
