Netizens are shocked by the responses.
With it being CSAT season for high school students in Korea, many celebrities have posted messages of support online.
In particular, actor Lee Dong Wook I went on the messaging app to cheer on the students who were taking the exam. However, many people began to complain that it was supposed to support everyone, not just students.
“I have always written messages of support during this time, and I’m not sure how much strength this will give, but I hope you all get the score you want. This is your first big exam, and while you may be nervous, it’s something you can’t avoid. If it’s something you have to do, will you win or lose? Let’s try to win. You can do it!
Ok, employees, university students, entrepreneurs… let’s support students together. Think about how nervous they are. You really had to say, “What about us?”
Of course I always support everyone… I understand that life is hard… but these are CSAT… and I only cheer for the younger ones once a year…”

After receiving many complaints, he left a further message in support of everyone.
“I support office workers, college students, entrepreneurs and everyone, of course! I hope that everyone in my Bubble is never left out and is always happy. I know how difficult it can be to live day to day. There is no such thing as an easy and simple life. I am so proud of everyone who puts in the work every day in their respective positions. I support everyone who has given me love and support.
Anyway, good luck to all the students taking the CSATs and let’s get this over with and have fun!”

But after receiving so many comments, it ended up selling out.
However there is so much traffic… I really want to go home! I’m so tired that I burned out while trying to support students. See if I ever support anyone again.

Korean netizens criticized fans for being immature when it was an important day for students.
- “If you want to receive a message of support, ask for CSAT. Why are you complaining? It’s not like you live life alone.
- “Are there really people complaining about this? They also received support when they took their exams, right? It’s a great day for students. Is it so bad that you’re not getting support?”
- “These people behave worse as they get older.”
- “Please act your age…he’s just trying to support the students.”
- “Lee Dong Wook is right… life is hard. Can’t we just support all students?
- “Please act like an adult…act your age.”
- “Why am I so…?”
- “Losers.”
- “If you have received support before… know when to give it back…”
