He continued: “You left so suddenly… I thought you were happy. If I could go back in time, I would hold you tight. But all I can do now is hope for your peaceful journey. Rest, letting go of all burdens and fly freely.”
Seo Yoon-ah has worked with Song Jae-rim on projects such as the 2018 film “On Your Wedding Day” and tvN drama “Big Data Romance.” He shared a photo of Song Jae-rim enjoying a peaceful moment, reminiscing about their close friendship.
The news of Song Jae-rim’s death on November 12 shocked the entertainment world. He was found dead at his home in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, at the age of 39.
It was reported that a friend, who was planning to meet Song Jae-rim for lunch, visited his house and found out. The police said: “There is no suspicion of foul play.” A two-page suicide note was found at the scene.
Song Jae-rim changed the name of his SNS account to “Beginning a Long Journey” and closed the comments section. He had until recently been active in the musical “La Rose de Versailles” and the TVING drama “Queen Woo,” making his passing even more painful for those who knew him.
