THE BOYS‘S Eric recently explained why he accidentally shared a photo of condoms.
Pepero Day is celebrated on November 11th in Korea because the numbers look like sticks of the popular snack. Eric shared a handwritten message for fans and gift every year.
This year was no different, with Eric sharing photos on THE BOYZ’s official X account featuring a close-up of his letters and a larger image containing what appeared to be a box of the fan-dedicated snack.
Upon closer inspection, however, netizens realized that the box in the photo was not Pepero’s but rather a specially created condom box. The product, a collaboration between the Barunsaenggak brand and GS25, was intended to make gifting and purchasing contraceptives much easier and alleviate some of the possible embarrassment some feel when purchasing.
However, the package worked too well, as Eric explained shortly after.

Eric reshared his letters and was comforted by netizens who shared that they would probably make the same mistake.
