According to IZE’s verification on November 6, KBS’s music review results released today have established this “CLICK CLACK”, one of the double-titled tracks from BABYMONSTER’s first full-length album “DRIP,” it was not suitable for broadcast.
When a song receives an inadequate rating from the KBS music review board, artists can edit or delete the problematic parts and request a rerating. Songs must receive approval to be broadcast on KBS programs (TV, radio, etc.).
“CLICK CLICK” was deemed unfit due “texts that violate Article 46 (Limitation of advertising effects) of the Broadcasting Review Regulations by mentioning specific product brands.” In the meantime, “DRIP,” the other double title track, received approval. Furthermore, the other tracks on the album include “Love, Maybe”, “Really Like You”, “BILLIONAIRE”, “Love In My Heart”, “Woke Up In Tokyo (RUKA and ASA)” AND “BATTER UP (Remix) – Bonus Track” they were all approved.
In particular, “CLICK CLICK” it was pre-released before the full album’s debut. The music video, released on YouTube at 1pm last month on October 30, received significant attention reaching 10 million views in just 21 hours.
BABYMONSTER returned to the limelight with their first album “DRIP” on November 1st. The group plans to actively promote on various platforms, including music shows and radio programs.
In other news from KBS music review results, Balming Tiger’s “Smart City” was deemed unsuitable due to lyrics containing swear words, slang and vulgar expressions. Also, chicken and snake soup “K!LL ME” was rejected for lyrics that glorify physical and mental abuse and contain disturbing content, while those of Pouch Peach “Cliche” was found to be in breach of Article 46 (Limitation of Advertising Effects) of the Broadcasting Review Regulations by mentioning specific product brands.
