Juniel’s fan letters and gifts not returned for 2 years ‘Communication problems, all company’s fault’

On November 5, Juniel posted on her personal social media account: “Two years ago, after a long hiatus, I released a song called “Dear”. The company asked to use fan letters and gifts as props for the music video to celebrate my 10th debut anniversary. So I lent them the fan gifts displayed on my shelf at home.

According to Juniel, for the release of “Dear” in 2022, fan letters and gifts were used as props for music videos. However, even to this day, November 6, two years later, he has not received any of these items back. Juniel explained: “I was told the items were organized in the company, but with the frequent staff changes, each new person said they would “look into” or were too busy to pick them up from various locations. When I asked again yesterday, they said the company had moved and the items could not be fully collected and transported for various reasons.”

He added: “I regret lending them as props. If I had known it would end like this, I would have kept them safe at home. It was my 10th debut anniversary and the song had a special meaning as it told stories about me and my fans, so I accepted the request. Now I feel hurt and disappointed.”

A K-Tigers representative explained to OSEN: “At the time, letters and gifts from Juniel’s fans were used as props in the music video. After a delay in filming, Juniel returned home and the props were brought to the office and organized there. However, the incumbent A&R team leader left the company later, and when the music video team wrapped up the project, communication broke down.”

The representative added: “The objects are located in the company, but after the relocation of the offices and the division into different branches such as the Taekwondo team, the film production team and the entertainment team, it is no longer clear where each object was stored. This is entirely our mistake. There is no reason why we wouldn’t want to return them. We should have resolved the problem and returned them sooner, but with the change of staff, communication problems led to this situation. We will make sure they are organized and return soon.”

Meanwhile, Juniel debuted in 2012 with her first mini-album “My First June”.
