On November 4, Colet’s sister, Arnie Jean Vergarawrote a public post on Facebook to talk about recent encounters with Colet fans. He began by asking fans to stop treating their family home as a tourist destination, constantly photographing it and revealing its location.

Other than that, we feel uncomfortable with so many people waiting outside, constantly taking photos of the house as if it were a tourist spot. Please give us this safe space and there is no need to broadcast where it is.

Arnie asked fans to be understanding and careful to avoid disturbing other people. He also singled out people who were up to no good. “We hope not to meet you again” he wrote.
Those who have not received a photo or image themselves, should understand that doing so in a public place may cause discomfort and inconvenience to others. We use our understanding and are aware of the situation. I know that those who sincerely support BINI and Colet will understand and we thank those who have respectfully made their requests. Arnie ended his post with a reminder; By approaching Colet during her free time, these fans are taking away Colet’s time with her family and not allowing her to rest.
