In the upcoming episode of KBS2’s “Boss in the Mirror”, Jung Ji-sun opens up about the couple’s separate sleeping arrangements. The show, aimed at creating a more pleasant working environment for bosses in South Korea, has achieved strong ratings, with the latest episode reaching a peak viewership of 8.8%, maintaining first place overall channels for 127 consecutive weeks.
During the October 3 broadcast, Jung Ji-sun surprised viewers by stating: “I have been sleeping in a separate room from my husband for 7 years.” This shocking revelation raises concerns from the studio audience, with some questioning the truth of his claim. She explains “My husband and I have different sleeping habits, so we started sleeping separately during our fourth year of marriage. Especially after we became parents, it naturally led to us separating, and now it’s great.”
Her husband also admits, “We don’t communicate well. We often talk about work but only have personal conversations once or twice a week. In response, Lee Soon-sil expresses his frustration, questioning whether they are really a couple given the situation.
Jung Ji-sun’s revelation leads to a change of tone from hosts Jeon Hyun-moo and Park Myung-soo. She shares “The house, shop and car are all in my husband’s name,” prompting Jeon Hyun-moo to observe, “Your husband should think about it” while Park Myung-soo supports Jung Ji-sun, “He shouldn’t act like that.”
Further chaos erupts in the studio when Jung Ji-sun reveals: “There are still photos of my husband’s ex-girlfriend in our house.” This bombshell news leaves the public stunned, so much so that even Park Myung-soo exclaims: “This conversation is explosive.”
Viewers can catch the full story of the couple’s separate life in “Boss in the Mirror,” which airs every Sunday at 4:40 pm (KST) on KBS2.
