BTS‘S Jin He seems like a popular guy, but he doesn’t have many friends, so he claims.
Jin was recently a guest on the latest episode of KStarNextDoor4hosted by Jonathan. Jonathan asked Jin about his small group of friends.
Jonathan: Is it true that you don’t even have three famous friends?
Jin: Not three, but…
Jonathan: Don’t have much?
Jonathan mentioned Jin’s friendship with a world-famous chef. He said, “When we looked, your friends were as big as seniors Baek Jong won.”
I can say that Baek Jong Won is my best friend because I have never met anyone like him before. He calls me once a day. I prefer texting, so I don’t make calls. But if I texted him about something, he would call me. We also play together.

Jin revealed that he considers Baek Jong Won one of his best friends and that they keep in touch every day after striking up a friendship when the chef is a guest Perform BTS! in 2021. They also play together.
Jonathan: You like games.
Jin: We always play the same game. I meet him more among my friends.
Jonathan asked Jin, “Do you only have a few friends or do people feel uncomfortable because you are a big celebrity?” Jin confessed that although he works in the entertainment industry and has met many people, his contact list is an incredible fraction compared to others.
I don’t have many people saved in my contacts. People in this camp have 2,000 or 3,000 numbers saved in their phones. I’m also in this field. But including people from my agency, my family, my friends and everyone else, I only have about 120 people. That’s all. I only have a few. I want to meet people, but I don’t have the opportunity to do so.

Jin confessed that he wanted to connect with more people, but struggled to do so. Jonathan suspects that people believe they have no chance of building a friendship with a star like Jin, much to his disappointment.
Jonathan: People wonder if they’ll see you again. I think the possibility is very low.
Jin: That’s the problem. People think it’s not easy to see me again, so they never call me. I wish they would.
Jin wishes people would contact him, but they don’t.
