Recently, the story of G-Dragon assisting a fan has gained renewed attention. The story comes from a fan of sasaeng, a group often viewed negatively by both the public and idols. He talked about how G-Dragon came to his rescue while he was stalking celebrities, “I was attacked by my boyfriend in front of a celebrity when I was a sasaeng.”

“In the past, when I was young and stupid, I was a sasaeng fan and waited for my idol until early in the morning. I ignored all my boyfriend’s messages… Around 3 or 4 in the morning, I stayed up all night waiting for my idol, but my boyfriend followed me and tried to drag me away. I didn’t listen to him, so he pushed me physically. He had a bad habit of hitting me.
But at that moment my idol appeared. He had just returned to the dormitory. He saw me being pushed by my boyfriend. I did a lot of sasaeng stuff back then, so he must have recognized me. Normally he would have ignored me completely, but that day he was right in front of me.

- Boyfriend: “Oh, it’s not that; I was just taking her away.
- GD: “Use your words instead of hitting her.”
