SEVENTEEN‘S Hoshi he attracted attention for his comments on marriage.
Recently, Hoshi appeared on a variety show with the concept of a tarot reader.
The host said he would answer questions about Hoshi with the use of tarot cards and, at one point, it was explained that they would talk about marriage and whether Hoshi would get married in his 30s.
The host immediately touched on the taboo of idols and relationships, explaining: “Fans who love Hoshi would appreciate it if the cards gave an unfavorable outcome.”
Hoshi was then asked if he ever imagined his married life, and the idol said he was focused on his work at the time.
But looking to the future, he shared his wishes and also touched the fans.
If my fans could understand… If that happened, I would like to go on family trips with my wife one day, like just do things I can’t do now.
When the video was posted, netizens praised Hoshi for being so open about the topic of marriage. While some fans shared how they would be supportive when the time came, others thought it was sad that the idol had to speak out about fans’ “understanding” when it came to his personal life and relationships.

Hoshi is so brave to ask questions about marriage when it’s obvious that they are currently at their peak as an idol. I also like the way he talks sincerely about having a family. Being able to express his thoughts without worry only makes me appreciate him more.
