In a surprising revelation, Min Hee Jin, former CEO of ADOR, recently shared a scary encounter where she was followed by a car and faced a serious threat. Continuing to talk School of MusicMin Hee Jin recounted the nerve-wracking experience in detail.
“Not long ago, I realized I was being followed,” he said. “The taxi driver informed me about it. There was a car persistently following us, refusing to stop. I tried to take an unusual route that would make it harder to follow, but they kept up.”
Min Hee Jin explained that despite her efforts to lose the car, it followed her home. “The driver told me that the car had followed us to my house. I didn’t get off at my destination but instead asked to be dropped off elsewhere.”
The situation worsened when Min Hee Jin had to confront the individual following her. “The driver also told me the make of the car,” he added. “The person actually got out of the vehicle, so I tackled him, yelling, ‘Hey!’ before immediately calling the police. They were arrested shortly after.”
Min Hee Jin also revealed that she has received death threats. However, she remains resolute, saying: “I don’t think I’ll have to die just yet.”
Meanwhile, on the 29th, the 50th Civil Division of the Seoul Central District Court, presided over by Chief Judge Kim Sang-hoon, rejected former CEO Min Hee Jin’s request for an injunction regarding his reappointment as CEO of ADOR against HYBE. Min asked for reinstatement at an upcoming ADOR board meeting, but the court ruled that the application was “invalid due to lack of interest.”
Following the ruling, Min’s legal representative, Sejong Law Firm, said that “the court has not ruled on the validity of the shareholder agreement” and argued that “the shareholder agreement between HYBE and Min Hee Jin remains valid.”
Min’s team also indicated, “If HYBE and the ADOR directors appointed by HYBE fail to reappoint Min as CEO in breach of the shareholders agreement, we will actively consider exercising our rights arising from HYBE’s breach.”
This suggests the possibility of legal action against HYBE regarding the shareholder agreement, indicating that the uneasy coexistence between Min Hee Jin, internal director of ADOR, and HYBE is likely to continue for the foreseeable future.
