In the video and images released, a woman was seen going into labor at the entrance to the concert hall. “This is the first time I’ve seen someone give birth at a concert,” commented the creator of the clip.
Many concertgoers reported seeing an ambulance arrive. Thanks to timely assistance, she gave birth safely and both were taken to hospital for treatment.
In the comments section, many expressed surprise at this rare incident. “I wonder how the health of the mother and baby is now”, “Let’s name the baby Jay Chou”, “I’m very curious to know how Jay Chou will react when he finds out that a fan gave birth at his concert”, were some of the comments of the public.
Jay Chou’s concert took place on the evening of October 26 at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium in Kuala Lumpur. According to Line Today, a large crowd had lined up early to enter the venue before the concert officially began at 7.30pm. Many even documented their journey to the concert and posted it on social media.
In addition to the incident of the fan giving birth at the concert, a famous online personality also attracted attention by posting a clip featuring Jay Chou attending the concert shortly before her due date. Her husband had pre-booked two ambulances waiting outside the venue in case of an emergency, one to transport her and the other to clear the road.
