Lisa’s Fan Meeting is not sold out in Indonesia and Singapore

Considered one of the best K-pop soloists and the strongest in the Southeast Asian market, Lisa surprisingly failed to sell out tickets in these two countries. In fact, on the first day of ticket sales in Singapore, only 15% of tickets were sold.

In Indonesia, which has a large fan base and is considered its second home, less than half of the tickets were sold after three days of sales. CNN Indonesia even reported on the unsold tickets.

One comment that garnered over 20,000 likes pointed out that the price was too high compared to attending just to listen to Lisa’s backtrack and lip-sync.

In comparison, BTS’s Suga has a much better track record in selling tickets. Even compared to other female soloists like Taeyeon and IU, Lisa’s ticket sales are significantly lower.

In September, BLACKPINK’s youngest member Lisa announced a fan meeting tour in Asia scheduled for mid-November. The series of events is called “Fan Meetup”. The information was shared by his management company, LLOUD.

According to the announced schedule, Lisa’s fan meeting tour will stop in five provinces/cities across Asia. The tour will begin on November 11th in Singapore, then continue to Bangkok (Thailand), Jakarta (Indonesia), Kaohsiung (Taiwan, China) and conclude in Hong Kong (China) on November 19th.

Lisa’s fan meet-up tour “Fan Meetup” marks a new milestone in her solo career. This is the first tour for the female idol. He is also the first BLACKPINK member to hold a global fan meeting tour after eight years of activity.
