OG SM Entertainment artists will once again reunite in a family concert! To commemorate the label’s 30th anniversary, SMTOWN Live will be held in Seoul, North America and Europe next year. Will Girls’ Generation participate?
In the official statement released by SM, the agency confirmed that its annual family concert, “SMTOWN LIVE 2025”, will finally return next year at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on January 11th and 12th.
Notably, SMTOWN artists will once again meet Pink Bloods (SM fans) in South Korea about 2 years and 5 months after their last concert, “SMTOWN LIVE 2022: SMCU EXPRESS @HUMAN CITY_SUWON” held in Suwon.
K-media noted:
“As this concert commemorates SM’s 30th anniversary in February 2025, it is said that ALL affiliated artists will reunite together.”
The concert will set a stage that will showcase the legacy that SM has built for three decades not only in Seoul but also during its upcoming tour of North America and Europe.
Ticket sales for the Seoul leg will begin next month, and more details will be revealed on SM Entertainment’s official SNS.
Meanwhile, the label released a teaser image on October 23 with the title “SMTOWN LIVE 2025”, immediately arousing curiosity about which artists will join the tour, especially among the OG groups that most of the members have already left SM such as Super Junior, SHINee, Girls’ Generation and EXO.

Just then, SONE raised the anticipation and said that SNSD would most likely participate in the concert as an eight-member group after Sublime, Tiffany Young’s current agency, reposted SM’s tweet about the concert of family.
Beyond that, the members have been meeting frequently, raising suspicions that they are “cooking” something for the fandom.
While these are still rumors, fans couldn’t contain their excitement as it’s been about three years since SNSD last performed as a team for SMTOWN LIVE.
