After it was revealed Seunghan he would come out of the break and go back to RIIZE, netizens were shocked when it was announced days later that he was leaving the group permanently.
When Seunghan’s first return was announced, funeral wreaths were sent to SM Entertainment calling for his removal.

Recently, ex DAY6 member Jae shared his thoughts on the situation.
On October 16, Jae responded to a fan who sent him well wishes, sharing that he has grown from his mistakes and his thoughts on whether or not people want to support him. Another netizen responded that despite what Jae did, he didn’t deserve “punishment,” adding that that’s why fans are protesting the decision to remove Seunghan from RIIZE.
What you did was wild… yes… but it deserved punishment… HELL NO! And that’s why while we protest for Seunghan we are also fighting for all the idols who have suffered and suffer from toxic parasocial relationships and fandom! The witch hunt must end! #RII7E

Jae then responded with his feelings about the flowers, sharing the possible tragedies that could occur and how something like this can impact an idol’s mental health.
The funeral flowers were disgusting. The same people who sent them will be the first online to mourn the tragic outcome they fought for. God forbid a tragedy should occur, but I’ve been that way before and it was close. I can’t imagine the trauma it would cause to someone so young https://t.co/f5PQTTgjnI

He then shared that anyone involved should be tried for “attempted murder” due to the possible consequences of the flowers.
Anyone involved with the flowers should be tried for attempted murder because that’s what it was.
