In the most recent episode of Stage fighterKang Daniel’s reliance on the script was once again highlighted. Second TenAsiaeven during relatively simple segments, he was often seen with his eyes fixed on the script, failing to interact naturally with the contestants or the audience. His tendency to read the script, even when moving from one part of the set to another, has frustrated many viewers who feel his hosting skills have not improved since he started.
This isn’t the first time the singer-turned-MC has been at the center of controversy. In 2022, he faced backlash for making insensitive comments Street women fighterwhich led to a public apology. He also sparked further debate when he mentioned a rival brand to the show’s sponsor Street fighter.
