“Yankee, go home!”
The fans are demanding Jessi leave the country.
Previously, we reported that Jessi is facing new backlash after the artist’s fan, who was attacked after asking for a photo, spoke out to news outlets.
The alleged teenage victim refutes Jessi’s claim that the perpetrator was not an acquaintance of hers
In an interview, the victim revealed that he rejected Jessi’s apology, which was uploaded 10 days after the incident and only after a news broadcast exposed the artist. According to the victim, Jessi knew the attacker well and claimed that her producer was an active member of the KOS gang, a Korean gang from suburban Orange County.
I saw his apology, but it seemed like he was just making excuses. It doesn’t make sense that the person who suddenly attacked him was someone he saw for the first time that day. My daughter says the person Jessi claimed she didn’t know was with her.

First he hit me twice in the stomach and kept pushing me with his head even though I avoided it. I heard him say something about a gang when he was with friends, and his body movements didn’t seem normal. I later looked him up and it looked like he was part of a Korean gang.

The culmination of Jessi’s apology and the new revelation about her gang-affiliated acquaintances erased Jessi socially. Korean netizens are now calling for Jessi, known to be a Korean-American, to leave Korea completely.
- “Jessi, leave this country!”
- “We need to kick her out and not let her in like Steven Yoo.”
- “Jessi, if you’re American, go back to America.”
- “If you go to America have fun with those who eluded the military.”
- “I hope you will return to your country. Band! Band!”
- “Yankee, go home!”
- “Go back to your country”.
- “How did you write that apology if you can’t even speak Korean? Lol.”
- “Go back to your country”.
- “Go back to the United States.”
