A video entitled was released on October 14th “A hot drinking session where difficulties explode like a fountain” was released on comedian Shin Dong-yeop’s YouTube channel “Zzanbro”.
The main actors of the new drama “A virtuous business” Kim So-yeon, Kim Sung-ryung and Yeon Woo-jin appeared on the show and had sincere and mature conversations.
During the chat, Shin Dong-yeop mentioned that Kim So-yeon’s wedding anniversary falls on June 9 and asked: “Did you intentionally choose that date?”
After realizing the implication later, Kim So-yeon laughed and said, “I guess that’s why that date was available.
Shin Dong-yeop then joked, “What I mean is that if you flip the 6, it becomes 9, and if you flip the 9, it becomes 6, so it symbolizes the couple understanding each other by putting themselves in each other’s shoes.”
The conversation then turned to on-screen chemistry, with Shin Dong-yeop asking: “One hairdresser I know says he can tell with 100% certainty whether actors are actually dating by watching their kissing scenes. They say there should be psychological distance when shooting kissing scenes, but if the actors are too close it means they are really dating. It is true?”
Kim So-yeon, who met Lee Sang-woo on a drama set before becoming a couple in real life, shyly admitted, “It is true. During the time we were dating, we had a kissing scene on a crosswalk. Even though it was a whole shot from across the street, where people look small, we kissed too passionately for real.”
Continuing her candid revelations, Kim So-yeon shared: “After we got married, my husband had a kissing scene in another drama and I felt jealous. His gaze seemed too warm. When I told him, he asked me why I didn’t understand.”
She continued, “Later, I had a lot of intense kissing scenes and my husband said, ‘Now I understand how you felt.’ So we came to an agreement. On the days when there were love scenes, we would go in and out of the room while watching the show. We try our best not to watch each other’s love scenes.”
He further explained, “When my husband was filming the drama ‘Red Balloon,’ there was an intense scene in bed. I was in the room and came across the clip. I couldn’t help but look at it. But my husband seemed so cool. I wasn’t jealous; he looked so good and I was impressed with how well he maintained his body at that age.
She then revealed the challenges of being an acting couple, saying she and her husband have “developed a system” when it comes to kissing and intimate scenes.
The conversation then turned to Kim Sung-ryung asking Yeon Woo-jin, “Do you have any thoughts about marrying an actor?”to which the latter replied: “I didn’t have such thoughts before. I thought I would prefer my wife not know the details of my job. I didn’t like the reality of being completely exposed, but now that I’m forty, I think differently,” showing an open mind even towards potentially frequent actors.
Kim Sung-ryung added his perspective, saying: “In the past I often advised against marrying actors. These days, I sometimes envy my younger actor colleagues. He continued, “My husband really likes that I work. If I say I want to stop working, he objects, asking me why I want to stop. If I’m not working, he calls my manager and asks me why there’s no work. I’m grateful for that.
He ended the discussion with a lighthearted comment that made everyone laugh, saying: “I haven’t done many kissing scenes in my work. I’d like to do an intense one.”
