RIIZE’s Seunghan will officially join the group’s activities
Two days later, on October 13, 2024, SM Entertainment announced that Seunghan would be leaving the group of his own free will. He made the decision for the sake of the fans and members.
Hi, I’m Wizard Production. First, we would like to sincerely apologize for the enormous confusion and pain caused to BRIIZE due to our previous announcement on October 11, 2024 about Seunghan’s return.
Although BRIIZE’s support has been the greatest source of strength as the 6 members of RIIZE have tried their best to achieve growth, we have not been able to prioritize the precious time that BRIIZE and RIIZE have spent together and have put the opinions of the production team first. For this we are particularly sorry.
We made this decision after a long period of reflection, thinking that we would be able to bring more happiness to the artist and fans if we could show you that RIIZE grows one more step after becoming a team again, with the return of Seunghan and regret his past mistakes.
But after the announcement, we considered every single reaction and opinion sent to us by fans, and we realized that our decision only hurt and confused fans even more.
At the time, Seunghan made it known that he wanted to leave the group himself for the sake of the members and fans. We respect our artist’s decision and would like to announce that Seunghan will no longer join the group but will instead withdraw from it.
Going forward, we will support Seunghan so that he can spread his talents and realize his dreams.
More than anything, we always think about the fans and will do our best for them, as we have done since our debut. Furthermore, we would like to extend our sincere apologies to the 6 members who worked hard and deliberate at all times so that RIIZE could be what it is today. In the future, we will do our best to provide support so that members can grow further.
Wizard Production will handle all future matters with the utmost care and will work hard so that RIIZE and BRIIZE can be happy together for a long time.
