One of the most recent K-Dramas is A virtuous business.
The series is set in the rural village of Geumje in 1992, where four women begin selling adult products door-to-door to gain financial independence and develop friendships, through their work. As the show was promoted, netizens praised the fact that the drama was led by four strong female leads, actresses that netizens have loved watching over the years.
Recently, the show aired its first episode and netizens shared some of the funniest and most unexpected moments from the show.
During one of the scenes, one of the main cast members was showing a car to some women, acting as a salesman. They seemed confused about the use, thinking it was a massager.
When other women find out the true purpose of the device, the reactions are so different, some find it funny and others disgusted.
If that wasn’t enough, there was a scene where lingerie was being sold. Some women experienced culture shock after seeing the risky nature of the garments, initially thinking they were faulty because parts were missing.
When the clips and screenshots were released, netizens shared their excitement for the rest of the show with the most unexpected storyline. In particular, they appreciated the way the main actresses interpreted the story and the other casts showed the feeling of the time regarding the business.
