During a recent live stream, Ilhoon discussed his future plans after his art exhibition “Little Ark”, which was held from October 4th to 6th in Seongsu-dong, Seoul. When fans asked him if they could expect a new music release in 2024, he confirmed, “Yes, I’m talking about this year,” sparking anticipation for his long-awaited musical return.
Ilhoon has kept a low profile since his discharge from the military in February 2022 and the resolution of his marijuana dispute, for which he served three years of probation. Despite these challenges, he has gradually reconnected with the public and his recent art exhibition marks a significant step in reconnecting with his fans. The “Tiny Ark” exhibition featured Ilhoon’s artwork, which he had worked on during his period of self-reflection. This creative endeavor served as both a personal outlet and a way for Ilhoon to show his fans that he’s doing well.
At the exhibition, Ilhoon not only displayed his artwork, but also offered a wide range of products, including T-shirts, hoodies, baseball caps, eco-friendly bags, mugs, key chains and photo books. As a special gift for fans, it also released 10 unique types of collectible photo cards, which participants could obtain based on their purchases.
