It was definitely a nice surprise.
Idols celebrate their birthday with live broadcasts but with BTS Jimin‘s birthday came up on October 13th and the idol enlisted, ARMY thought they wouldn’t be on the air… but they were wrong because BTS Jin came to the rescue.
On October 10, netizens were shocked to see BTS Weverse’s live notification appear with the caption “Happy Birthday Jimin” but with Jin’s icon. As soon as the live started, Jin was seen wearing adorable purple pajamas and holding a cake with “Happy Birthday Jimin” written on it.
Even though it was 5 am in America and he had only woken up 10 minutes earlier, he made sure to wake up to wish Jimin a happy birthday on his way back to Korea and he didn’t know if he could say it that day.
Then he got some charm from Jin, getting hyper and joking that Jimin probably couldn’t watch the live show.
Then he said he was going to sing Happy Birthday…
Since Jimin couldn’t celebrate his birthday, Jin thought he would come and do it.
Then he started singing.
Jin then gave an update on Jimin…
Explaining that he was probably sleeping now, but the idol was eating well and had gained weight.
He then explained that he talks to Jimin and Jungkook, even imitating their phone calls.
As the “party” continued, Jin said he threw a special party for Jimin, even joking that his bandmate should send him money for it.
Hilariously, it wasn’t long before Jimin’s birthday live turned into a party for… “Super Tuna 2.” Jin changed the background and even wore a hat while talking about the upcoming re-release of his iconic song.
Before leaving, he expressed his love for ARMY, wished Jimin a happy birthday before thanking him for allowing the live to be used to promote Super Tuna, and then the live is over.
Jin celebrated two holidays in one, and netizens couldn’t hide their excitement.
