KATEYE are teasing a collaboration with a labelmate.
The six-member global girl group, consisting of Sophia, Manon, Daniela, Lara, Megan, AND Yoonchaeformed through MOVES AND Geffen Records‘survival show Dream Academy.
Today, KATSEYE encouraged their fans to call them to receive a teaser, very similar TXT done before. They also urged fans to keep an eye on Weverse.

When fans called the number, they received a teaser of a new version of KATSEYE’s “Touch,” featuring male vocals.

Most netizens imagined that it was BOY NEXT DOOR‘S Jaehyunwhich is technically also under HYBE or NCT‘S Jaehyun.

Others guessed right ENIPENE members e BTS‘S Jungkook. Another common hypothesis was that of TXT Yeonjun. All of this seemed likely since these are HYBE groups.

Shortly after, KATSEYE members started posting on Weverse, as promised. Lara seemed to tease that it was Yeonjun, as they both currently have red hair.

Manon posted a photo of herself holding Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, known to be Yeonjun’s favorite snack, and asked fans for some guesses.

Megan posted a photo with her snack: gum. Yeonjun recently made his solo debut with “GGUM.”
If that wasn’t obvious enough… Sophia shared a photo of herself holding Yeonjun’s PUSHBUTTON plush of the character, Hwang Choon.
One member left no room for other hypotheses. Yoonchae shared a password-protected post revealing the cover art for the “Touch” remix and confirming Yeonjun’s inclusion. He had made his name the password!
