Yet, new photos of NCT‘S Jaehyun have been circulating since October 7th and NCTzens are comparing him to a vampire for the most unexpected reason.
Jaehyun attended the premiere of his new movie, You will die in 6 hourson October 7. It is adapted from Kazuaki Takanois the novel of the same name.
Jeong-Yoon (Park Ju-Hyun) is walking down the street, when a stranger stops her and tells her he will die in 6 hours. The stranger is Joon-Woo (Jaehyun) and he claims he can see his future. To change Jeong-Yoon’s future, Jeong-Yoon tries to find the person who will kill her in 6 hours.

Fan site @_4ever0nly214 on X (formerly Twitter) shared photos of the camera screen. So, Jaehyun’s photos were not edited. Jaehyun was left with red eyes, a phenomenon caused by light reflected from the retina at the back of the eyes, which is usually the result of flash photography in low-light situations.
The photos have garnered over 1 million views as of this writing. NCTzens joked about the red eyes, claiming he was a vampire, as vampires are known to have red eyes. Some have referenced NCT 127’s “Favorite (Vamprie).” Duskand, of course, the iconic Haechan vampire memes. Some were also disappointed with the makeup artist, who used the wrong shade for Jaehyun’s skin tone.

Jaehyun might actually be a vampire, though. In addition to the “Favorite (Vampire)” MV, he dressed up as one from Halloween 2021.
