MADE IN has officially named his fandom! Supporters of the idol group will now be known as ‘MABY’!
MADEIN announces official fandom name as “MABY”
On October 6, the rookie girl group, which includes former Kep1er members Mashiro and Yeseoannounced that their fans will be called “MABY” (pronounced like the English word “maybe”).
The name is a creative blend of “MADEIN” and the word “BY”, it also symbolizes the fans who stand by MADEIN throughout their journey. In their formal announcement, the group explained, “MADEIN + BY (~alongside) means supporting members alongside MADEIN. With fans by MADEIN’s side, the members will heal and even overcome all trials and tribulations. Fans always on MADEIN’s side, this is the meaning of the name of the fandom.”
MADEIN is made up of seven talented members, each with a unique background in the K-pop industry. In addition to Mashiro and Yeseo from Kep1er, the group also includes MiU, Suhye and Gaeunwhich he had previously promoted as a member of FLIPadding their own experiences and fanbase to the mix. New faces Serina and Nagomiwhich gained attention through the survival show “Produce 101 Japan The Girls”complete the diversified lineup.
The group also debuted their first EP in September, featuring the title track “UNO.” With their fandom name now official, MADEIN is also poised to make a lasting impact in the K-pop world, and their fans, MABY, will be right there by their side.
