The special National Armed Forces Day episode featured WOODZ alongside fellow enlisted singer Jung Seung Hwanas they gave a thrilling performance of Lee Juk’s iconic song, “Running Through the Sky.” Their powerful voice resonated deeply with the audience of soldiers who responded with enthusiastic applause, creating an electrifying atmosphere.
In addition to his duet with Jung Seung Hwan, WOODZ performed his self-composed song, “Drowning,” showcasing his impressive vocal range and songwriting talents. His performance left a strong impression, demonstrating the depth of his artistic talent even while serving in the military.
After the episode, WOODZ expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to perform on such a significant occasion. WOODZ has served in the military since January 2024 as part of the Army Band, continuing to utilize his musical talents throughout his enlistment. Before joining the army, he left a heartfelt message to his fans, promising to come back stronger after completing his service.
“I will come back even healthier, so please stay happy and healthy without getting sick, wherever you are. Once again, thank you MOODZ for always giving me strength and giving me more love than I deserve,” he wrote.
Cho will conclude his military duties in July 2025.
