Clip of male idol smoking resurfaces, and K-pop fans love his ‘IDGAF’ behavior

K-pop idols often end up apologizing after being caught vaping. But that’s not the case with THIS male idol, who has instead been praised for smoking openly.

On X, JX’s Kim Jaejoong became a hot topic online after his previous video of himself smoking resurfaced. The clip was taken from his vlog, “Travel Buddies Ep. 3,” in which he went to Argentina and visited a cigar bar.

When this video hit the K-pop community’s feed, the topic of the extreme reaction an idol would face if caught vaping or smoking was raised. If they are criticized for doing it in secret, they can’t imagine the amount of hate they would receive if they showed it publicly.

However, this is not the case with Jaejoong. Instead, his fans praise his “IDGAF” behavior. According to them, being called out for smoking is a small thing compared to what they suffered in the past.

The celebrity’s heartbreaking past is no secret in the K-pop industry. Ultimately, Jaejoong’s power and influence allowed him to overcome the lawsuit against K-pop giant, SM Entertainment.

Now, he is one of the idols to return to national TV broadcasts and music shows after being blacklisted by major entertainment companies.

Since Jaejoong is still relevant to this day, it is proof of his indisputable influence that no one can take away with a simple smoking controversy.
