“My Name is Gabriel” has released several new photos from Jennie’s upcoming episodes. The show, produced by PD Kim Tae Hoknown for the hit show “Endless Challenge”follows cast members as they immerse themselves in each other’s lives abroad for 72 hours.
In her episodes, Jennie takes on the character of Maria, the real-life owner of a farm bed and breakfast in a picturesque village near Rome, Italy. When asked why she chose to participate in the show, Jennie explained: “I thought it would be a special experience.”
For 72 hours, Jennie embraces her new identity by engaging in various tasks at the boarding house. From welcoming guests to preparing meals and hosting lively banquets, Jennie immerses herself in the rural lifestyle. He also conducts cooking classes for his guests, demonstrating his versatility. One of the memorable moments includes his dramatic arrival, where he jokingly says, “Has anyone ever been kidnapped while working?” Jennie is then taken to a horse ranch before starting her duties at the boarding house.
Enjoying life in Italy
The location itself adds charm, as the farmhouse is located in a vast estate with a 15,000 square meter vineyard and 500 olive trees. Jennie is also seen gathering ingredients from the farm to cook home-cooked meals, working alongside her mother to serve guests.
Jennie’s new character as Maria is also different from her idol image. However, the BLACKPINK member won’t be quitting her day job anytime soon. Jennie is also set for another solo comeback after signing with Columbia Records earlier this month.
Fans are eager to see Jennie’s adaptability, charisma, and cooking skills in her “My Name is Gabriel” episodes, which will air on September 27 and October 4 at 10:30 PM KST.
