It’s official: “Bank of Music in Madrid” returns.time scheduled for Miguel Ríos Auditorium in Rivas Vaciamadrid.
‘Music Bank in Madrid’ confirmed for the Miguel Ríos Auditorium
On September 25, local event organizer Korea Power confirmed the change of venue following the recent outages.
“The Music Bank World Tour Madrid will be held on the scheduled date, October 12, 2024, with the same program, at the Miguel Ríos Auditorium in Rivas Vaciamadrid. It is a well-connected venue (metro and intercity buses) and the only one available in the Madrid region with the necessary capacity to accommodate all those who have already purchased tickets, without compromising any of the artistic and technical aspects of the production”, yes reads in the press release.
“The main change will be that tickets, originally all seated, will now be standing both on the floor and in the stands, due to space limitations and to ensure a safe evacuation plan“he added.
Originally, the concert was supposed to be held at the iconic Santiago Bernabéu stadium on October 12, 2024. However, earlier this month, Real Madrid canceled all concerts at the stadium until March 2025 due to ongoing noise complaints by local residents. This decision surprised many, including the organizers of “Music Bank in Madrid,” who were reportedly not informed in advance.
Despite the setback, the event will go ahead as planned and will now take place at a different venue. The Miguel Ríos Auditorium is also a popular venue known for hosting major concerts and events, providing an excellent backdrop for K-pop extravaganza.
Fans will be able to witness performances from top K-pop groups such as ENHYPEN, aespa, BOYNEXTDOOR, RIIZE, NMIXX, KISS OF LIFE, MAMAMOO+ and P1Harmony. The new location ensures the excitement continues October 12, 2024with a spectacular lineup ready to offer an unforgettable experience to K-pop fans in Spain.
