Fans pointed out that the group’s appearance seemed rushed: the members quickly ran on stage, performed without any formal greetings, and exited immediately afterwards.

The situation surrounding N.Flying’s Hwesung has caused further uproar. His performance, which fans had been eagerly anticipating, was abruptly canceled at the last minute due to delays at the venue. In a now-deleted statement, Hwesung’s label explained that the performance was canceled due to “delay issues” and offered an apology to fans who were waiting.
We regret to inform you that the congratulatory show for the SBS Seoul Drama Awards 2024, scheduled for today, has been canceled due to delays at the event venue.
We sincerely apologize to all the fans who have been waiting for us and ask for your understanding once again.

The statement has now been deleted by X (formerly known as Twitter). However, Hwesung himself clarified the situation to fans in a message.
Hello, Yoo Hweseung! “I don’t even know all the details. I was backstage just because it was my turn, but then suddenly I heard that the stage was canceled and my turn was cancelled. So, I went home quickly… I don’t have much to say about it. More than that, I feel sorry for the friends who came to visit me since the morning and had to keep waiting… I couldn’t take care of them properly, and I’m sorry.”
The mishandling of both performances has sparked widespread anger online, with fans demanding a formal apology from the event organizers. Many are questioning the treatment of the beloved artists, especially considering the considerable effort they put into attending and rehearsing their performances.
