On September 20, Yuehua Entertainment announced that EVERGLOW’s Aisha would not be participating in the group’s “PULSE & HEART” tour in the United States and Latin America due to health concerns. Doctors advised Aisha to take “a lot of rest”, which led to the decision not to participate in the tour.
“Before the tour rehearsals, Aisha’s physical condition deteriorated significantly and as a result she was taken to the hospital, where doctors advised her to get plenty of rest,” the statement read.Although Aisha has expressed a strong desire to participate in the tour, after extensive internal discussions, we have decided that focusing on her recovery is the highest priority..”
“We will do our best to support Aisha in her recovery,” he added.
This news comes shortly after EVERGLOW made a strong comeback in June with their digital single “Zombie”, following a long hiatus since their previous release in August 2022. Their fourth single album, ‘ALL MY GIRLS’, featured the hit title track “KILL,” who have secured numerous wins on music shows and further cemented their status as a powerhouse in the K-pop scene.
EVERGLOW’s next tour, which will include eleven dates across the United States and Latin America, kicked off on September 12, 2024. Despite Aisha’s absence, the remaining members are expected to deliver impactful performances, maintaining the group’s momentum and connection with their international fanbase.
Fans expressed concern for Aisha’s health, but supported her decision to prioritize recovery. Although her absence will be felt during the tour, EVERGLOW supporters are eager to see the group thrive and hope for Aisha’s full recovery.
I wish Aisha a speedy recovery so that she can reunite with the rest of the EVERGLOW members soon.
