Red Velvet‘S Joy it is said that he will go away SM Entertainment after his contract expired.
According to an exclusive report by News about the starsJoy is preparing to leave SM Entertainment and find a new agency once her contract with SM Entertainment expires. Star News stated that she recently met with agencies that specialize in managing actors.
SM Entertainment has only officially announced the contract renewals for Seoul (again in August 2023) and Irene (as of February 2024). They have not announced anything for Joy, PositionOR Wendy.
In June, Joy expressed her frustration with SM Entertainment for other artists posting articles about their comebacks while Red Velvet didn’t post many, and for being the only SM Entertainment group that doesn’t have a Japanese fan club.
SM Entertainment has not commented on Star News’ report.
