Babylon is kicking off its “Beautiful Memories USA Tour” on October 24. This is Babylon’s first time touring the United States, where it will perform in all regions of the country in 21 shows.
On this occasion, Kbizoom gave an exclusive interview to Babylon. Let’s listen to the singer share interesting insights on his tour and his upcoming projects.
You are about to start your tour in the United States. What are you most excited about for this tour and how have you prepared to connect with your American fans?
What excites me the most is that I have never performed in the United States before, so this overseas tour in the United States is what I am most looking forward to and it is very exciting. I plan to perform while presenting my music in a natural way, like a radio DJ, to connect with American fans.
You’ve been praised for your exceptional production skills. How do you continue to evolve as an artist while still staying true to your unique style?
I try to create music as naturally as possible, staying true to myself. I think that’s my answer.
How do you choose which collaborations to pursue? Are there any artists you hope to work with in the future?
I consider the tone of their voice and how well the chemistry and synergy will work with my music. I would like to collaborate with Jacquees, Chris Brown and SZA.
What has been the biggest challenge you have faced so far in your career and how did you overcome it?
The biggest challenge has been releasing full albums instead of singles. It’s tough, but I manage to do it by keeping my condition under control and working hard.
What has been the most rewarding aspect of your career so far, both professionally and personally?
Collaborating with American artist Eric Benet was impressive. Also, continuing to release albums from the EGO 90’S series, which embody the idea that while trends change, classics are eternal, was very satisfying.
Looking ahead, what are your goals for the next few years? Are there any new projects or directions you are excited to explore?
I want to collaborate with international artists. I will continue to diligently release my music as full albums, giving it my all.
