AS BLACKPINK continue to pursue their solo careers, the idols have popped up in unexpected places. One favorite seems to be Los Angeles, as many of the members have been spotted out and about in the city.
Recently, netizens were surprised by the seemingly unexpected interaction of one of the members with another third-generation idol.
On September 17, an Instagram account appears to have been the first to share a photo of Jennie with another person at a location identified as Sushi Park in Los Angeles. The Instagram post claimed that Jennie and GOT7‘S BamBam They were out eating with other friends, hashtagging their names and those of the other BLACKPINK members.
Subsequent photos shared online give a closer look at the second person and appear to confirm that it is BamBam. BamBam is in Los Angeles following his performance at the Krazy Super Concert on September 14 and 15.
The couple appears very friendly and the others are only seen on the margins of the published photos.
Many fans were excited to see the two idols interact, such as BamBam and Lisa are friends, and there has been a lack of interaction with third-generation idols lately. GOTPINK, as fans like to call the two groups, also have a long history of working together.

Some have linked their exit to Jennie’s solo, as BamBam hosts returning idols on his YouTube show Bam House.
