Hong Kong’s entertainment industry mourns death of famous martial arts star Norman Chuipassed away at the age of 73 from esophageal cancer on September 1 in Beijing. Norman’s passing came as a shock to his fans and colleagues, as it was reported that he was unaware of his illness.
The shock was compounded when it was revealed that Norman’s wife, a 43-year-old dancer, had also passed away just days after his death.
Tin Kai Mana veteran actor and spokesperson for the Hong Kong Film Workers Associationconfirmed the news and expressed his grief over Norman’s sudden death. He also shed light on how his wife’s passing occurred. While arranging the funeral, she unfortunately suffered a fatal heart attack and passed away.

Norman’s wife, his third, was 30 years his junior. Although little is known about his public life, his sudden death left his daughter in charge of funeral arrangements.
