Did former TVXQ member Jaejoong make his niece want to die with his scathing response to NCT?

Before establishing himself as a solo artist as he is today, Jaejoong debuted as a member of the boy group TVXQ (also known as DBSK) under SM Entertainment.

However, in 2009, he, along with two other former members (Yoochun and Junsu), filed a lawsuit against SM to terminate their contracts. At the time, Jaejoong claimed that SM unfairly distributed profits from TVXQ’s activities, was not transparent in terms of financial matters, and imposed a “slave contract” on idols.

In the end, the court ruled in favor of Jaejoong, but he was blacklisted in the industry for years due to his contacts with SM.

Now Jaejoong is no longer suffering the consequences of SM’s actions and, in fact, recently went viral due to a “wild response” he gave in relation to the previous lawsuit.

In particular, Jaejoong’s niece recently posted an update on SNS regarding a conversation she recently had with the male idol.

According to her granddaughter, she told Jaejoong how much she likes NCT, an artist under SM Entertainment, to which Jaejong responded wildly, “Really? You know I was in MS for 8 years and then I even sued them, right?”

The granddaughter also added the caption “LOOOOOOL I should just die”along with a photo of a trophy Jaejoong had from his years as TVXQ.

Internet users who saw the story had a good laugh, and a post about this interaction even went viral on the SNS X platform (formerly Twitter) with over 2.2 million views.
